It's  been  a while, sorry I had to do normal job in the meantime, not much time to fix this mess.

The project its pretty much over,  its lacking some of the artwork for the ending scene and loading screens so I cut them out,  and also the easier level lacks lots of polishing that had me a little fatigued of ideas  (its basically a nerfed hard level).

There's a couple more things I intended to do with this game before moving onto a new project (and maybe will begin a new project anyway in a few weeks). And its a basic API network to share scores, etc., and maybe a Extra stage related to how I intend to keep using this same set of characters for a new game (this might never happen though, as its very time consuming and frankly this exact genre didnt really stick with me that much and ran out of ideas - still I pushed with it till the end to deliver as much as possible).

We appreciate all the views, comments, and your enjoyment we received throughout this project, its been an amazing ride for us, and its come a long way since the first version I uploaded.

Its been a long time coming.

Game still isn't complete, however you can now play it to the last stage we planned.

Beware! Casual difficulty is still hard! The original game mode is Bullet Hell, and because we haven't finished rescaling it properly, the last levels might be a bit too intense, so you don't feel overwhelmed.

Now fully music themed thanks to Xiwangchan's endless work. 
We really hope you enjoy the story we made! We had great fun making this game, and I feel satisfied with the results so far.

For our final patch before officially putting an end to this project it remains:
- High score/Custom keybinds file (its a bit buggy, same as score being unnamed).
- Tentative  Extra Stage (with an additional character which would follow the story of this project into the next game) - although this might never get done, depending how busy we are.
- Rescaling of difficulties and UI polishing
- Final dialogue lines and translations

I will be monitoring the functionality of the itch upload tomorrow (I'm too tired atm to test right after upload).

Testing more stuff.  Game is still very unstable.
[fixing upload at the moment, will be back in a few minutes]

Game seems extremely buggy at the moment (crash on stage 2), will  patch at night, it was a rushed out upload just to fit into time.

Hanakomi Witches its an action shooting game inspired by many arcadia game from the past (mainly Atari/SEGA games) and also more modern SHMUPs  like Touhou.

Follow the story of Lucy and Rosemary in the Redllet Trick Flower Festival, as our protagonists travel across the world in search of challenges!

some bullets tend to blend in with the background and aren't as noticeable: the wasp, bee, and one of the crow bosses attacks.

might be a neat idea if its deliberate, sneaky bullets
